Travel medicine - Prophylaxis and Vaccination

Vaccinations against bacterial and viral infectious diseases are an important part of travel medicine. We will check your vaccination card for existing inoculations and necessary booster vaccinations. Furthermore, we will determine vaccination schedule with regard to your travel destination.
Our practice is also an officially registered yellow fever vaccination center, where only specially trained physicians are allowed to conduct this particular vaccination. Yellow fever is a viral disease whose dispersion area are the subtropical and tropical regions of Africa and South America, but not Asia.
We strongly recommend yellow fever vaccinations when traveling to endemic countries. After a one-off vaccination, the immunisation protection normally lasts for ten years.

We offer you the following vaccinations:
Diptheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis (infantile paralysis), pertussis (whooping-cough), measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox, hepatitis A and B, meningococcal disease, Japanese encephalitis, rabies, typhus, tick-borne encephalitis (TBE).
Also available since 2006 is a vaccination against the Human Papillomavirus (HP-Virus) which causes cervical cancer. We can also advise you about that and can conduct a HP-Virus vaccination.
